Zélia Duncan
Começou a cantar profissionalmente em 1981 e se tornou nacionalmente conhecida com a música ‘Catedral’, em 1995. Ao longo de 42 anos de carreira, lançou 15 discos, 5 DVDs solo, ganhou vários prêmios, discos de ouro e de platina, participou de trabalhos junto a grandes nomes da música brasileira, realizou vários projetos importantes. Entre eles: lançou o CD e DVD “Eu Me transformo em Outras”; fez parte da nova formação do grupo Os Mutantes (2007); gravou o DVD ‘Amigo é casa’, com a cantora Simone (2008); atuou como atriz em 'Totatiando’ (2011), 'Alegria, Alegria' (2017) e 'Mordidas' (2018). Versátil e engajada, ela se divide entre a persona intérprete e a autoral. Além disso, foi colunista semanal do jornal O Globo, entre 2015 e 2017, e em 2022, lançou o primeiro livro, ‘Benditas Coisas Que Eu Não Sei’, indicado ao Prêmio Jabuti.
She began singing professionally in 1981 and became nationally known with the song "Catedral" in 1995. Over her 42-year career, she has released 15 albums, 5 solo DVDs, won several awards, gold and platinum records, worked with major names in Brazilian music, and carried out several important projects. Among them: she released the CD and DVD “Eu Me Transformo em Outras” (I Transform Myself into Others); was part of the new formation of the group Os Mutantes (2007); recorded the DVD "Amigo é Casa" with singer Simone (2008); and acted as an actress in ‘Totatiando’ (2011), ‘Alegria, Alegria’ (2017), and ‘Mordidas’ (2018). Versatile and engaged, she splits her time between the interpreter persona and her own authorial work. Additionally, she was a weekly columnist for the newspaper O Globo from 2015 to 2017, and in 2022, she released her first book, ‘Benditas Coisas Que Eu Não Sei’ (Blessed Things I Don’t Know), which was nominated for the Jabuti Award.
