Sara Prado
Produtora Cultural, Sara Prado é especialista em Políticas Públicas, Governo e Estado pela Faculdade Latino Americana de Ciências Sociais (FLACSO). Entre 2015 e 2019, foi gestora de Políticas para Juventude do Governo Estadual da Bahia e, em 2020, assumiu função no Centro de Cultura Populares e Identitárias (CCPI) da SecultBA, onde esteve Coordenadora de Gestão dos Largos do Pelourinho, espaços de evento do Governo do Estado sob responsabilidade da Secretaria de Cultura. Em 2023, tornou-se Superintendente de Promoção Cultural na SecultBA, designada a coordenar o Sistema Estadual de Fomento e Financiamento da Cultura, em especial o Programa de Incentivo ao Patrocínio Cultural (Fazcultura) e o Fundo de Cultura da Bahia (FCBA). Também atuou na coordenação do Sistema de Indicadores e Informação em Cultura (SIIC) e na articulação e coordenação da Secretaria de Cultura em temas relacionados à Economia da Cultura, com destaque para o Escritório Bahia Criativa. Esteve à frente da operacionalização dos recursos oriundos da Lei Paulo Gustavo junto às unidades executivas da Secult. Atualmente, está Diretora Geral da Fundação Cultural do Estado da Bahia, unidade vinculada à SecultBA responsável pelo incentivo e desenvolvimento de projetos que promovam a formação, criação, pesquisa, produção, difusão e memória das Artes Visuais, do Audiovisual, do Circo, da Dança, da Literatura, da Música e do Teatro da Bahia.
Cultural Producer, Sara Prado is a specialist in Public Policy, Government, and State from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO). Between 2015 and 2019, she served as the Youth Policy Manager for the State Government of Bahia. In 2020, she took on a role at the Center for Popular and Identity Cultures (CCPI) of SecultBA, where she was the Coordinator for the Management of the Pelourinho Squares, event spaces under the responsibility of the State Government’s Department of Culture.
In 2023, she became the Superintendent of Cultural Promotion at SecultBA, designated to coordinate the State System for Culture Promotion and Financing, particularly the Cultural Sponsorship Incentive Program (Fazcultura) and the Bahia Culture Fund (FCBA). She also worked in the coordination of the Cultural Indicators and Information System (SIIC) and led the Department of Culture’s initiatives related to the Cultural Economy, notably through the Bahia Criativa Office. She was responsible for managing the funds from the Paulo Gustavo Law in collaboration with Secult’s executive units.
Currently, she serves as the General Director of the Cultural Foundation of the State of Bahia, a unit linked to SecultBA, responsible for supporting and developing projects that promote the training, creation, research, production, dissemination, and preservation of Visual Arts, Audiovisual, Circus Arts, Dance, Literature, Music, and Theater in Bahia.
